Easter Island - The real thing

Rented a car with some friends and drove all around the island, walked to the top of the island, did some snorkeling in a beautiful beach in a small coral reef. This is Easter Island, the most remote place in the world!!:

View from the top of the island, the Terevaka hill. Pic of the vulcano where the Rapa Nui took the stones to built the moai:

Standing on the seaside before entering one of the island caves close to Tanai:

I was just happy:

She came to the boats at a small harbor:

Yes, Easter Island is far away from everywhere:

A sea hedgehog (I cut it afterwards and eat it, did not taste much like anything):

With the people of the hostel:

A guayaba (I grabbed it on my way to the Tarakena and ate it):

Most typical flower from Easter Island:

The Orongo crater, the most spectacular one:

Easter Island has been without doubt one of the best things of this trip so far, maybe because I did not expect it to be (that is the trick actually to enjoy the places). Next stop Temuco in the Chilean Araucaria region!
