Beautiful walk yesterday to the nearby village of Huancas, stunning views of the Sonche Canyon. Hell of a day today, hard rain most of it, but some amazing scenarios on a tour I took...
My next destination might be Cajamarca, but I am not sure yet when i will be going...

The mist is everywhere at the Chachapoyas region:
The 1800-year-old sarcophagus at Karaji:
Human bones remaining at the site:
Closer view to the sarcophagus, look at the skulls on top of them:
After Karaji went to the Pueblo de los Muertos. Here a view of the valley from the site:
Wild orchids growing on the side of the mountains:
Ruins of the houses still standing literaly on the cliff:
More sarcophagus, they all contain human mummies:
By the pics is hard to tell, but I was one meter away from the abyss:
The rain made it a hard day, but definitely worth it:
My next destination might be Cajamarca, but I am not sure yet when i will be going...
