Cusco - Inka Jungle Trek

The last three days we took an unforgettable experience walking one of the old Inka ways, lots of fun and effort!:

A snapshot driving through the Sacred Valley of the Inkas to the beginning of our bike tour:

Here practising a little with the bike before the start at the Abra Malaga Pass:

Here the complete group that went down the road to Santa Maria:

Nice view!!:

The road to Santa Maria (even nicer than the Death Road in Bolivia!!):

And after such a tiring tour, a nice lodge where to relax for the next day!:

View from the Nevado de Veronica (~6400 m):

Funny Picuro (will be eaten when it grows a little...):

Wonderful views during the trek:

The Urubamba river:

Judith with the Urubamba river in the background:

David on top of a part of the Inka Trail (Ruben, ich liebe mein Buff!):

Judith hidden in the shadows also on top of the Inka trail (top left):

Look at that amazing way!:

And on the way down, a nice different landscape (more jungle like now):

Schee!!:

Getting some fresh water:

On the top of the world!! (not really...):

Yeaaaaahhhh! The right reward for a tiring day:

And for the third day, first a great view:

Judith climbing before throwing herself to the void of the jungle!!:

Here the both of us before starting the Cola de Mono canopy:

She was smiling, yeah... but she was sooooo scared!!:

We had a lot of fun!:

And after the canopy, a great walk in the jungle:

With Jhon (yes, he writes it like that), our guide:

Following the train railway to Machu Picchu:

One of the peaks on the right is the Wayna Picchu, which will be seen in a few days in this blog:

The beautiful colibri:

Judith waiting for the train to pass:

Nice dragonfly:

Great place to eat before continuing our way:

With nice coffee plants everywhere:

And cute birds:

Don't do this if you have vertigo!:

And on our return to the beautiful Cuzco, some more pics:

And as a dessert, the video of Judith on one of the lines of the canopy (cool stuff):

The next entry, the Colca Canyon (deepest canyon in the world)!
